Binding: Nineteenth-century half mottled calf over marbled pasteboards. ‘624' in red ink on a rectangular paper label at the upper left-hand corner of the upper cover. Yellow-edged leaves and green silk bookmark. Size: 290 × 210 × 17 mm. Size of leaf: 284 × 197 mm. A few marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, in a contemporary humanist hand in red-brown ink; a few other marginal notes, providing references to comparative texts, also running book numbers in roman numerals, in a sixteenth-century hand in brown ink.
