Binding: Nineteenth-century gold-tooled olive morocco with gilt-edged leaves, and doublures stamped with the arms of Thomas Grenville; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Size: 320 × 230 × 45 mm. Size of leaf: 312 × 210 mm. German(?) initials, some with extensions into the margins and foliate or floral pen-work in the area defined by the letter; paragraph marks are supplied in red.
