Binding: Contemporary German blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards; one clasp lost. On both covers fillets form a frame; the inner rectangle is divided by fillets into lozenge-shaped compartments. In the compartments a six-petalled flower, a small lozenge-shaped fleur-de-lis and a plait-work stamp; in the frame, a palm-leaf stamp and a stamp with a tendril supporting two flowers.
Size: 225 × 170 × 105 mm.
Size of leaf: 213 × 156 mm.
Early marginal notes in ink and in red.
Woodcut initials painted in several colours. Red capital strokes.
Provenance: Irsee, Bavaria, Benedictines, S. Maria; inscription on [*1r] ‘Maioris Vrsinensis Bibliothecæ'.

Wanting gathering [*] and leaf EE8 with the printer's device.
Binding: Sixteenth-century German blind-tooled pigskin over bevelled wooden boards, remains of two clasps. Formerly chained: staple-marks of a hasp at head of the lower cover. Remains of a title-label at the head of the upper cover. On both covers fillets form a double frame. In the inner rectangle, a crocketed cresting roll; in the outer frame, two different floral rolls.
