Binding: Contemporary French (Paris) blind-tooled calf over pasteboard, two clasps lost; rebacked. On both covers a double frame formed by two rolls; on the inner rectangle five rolls are impressed in vertical stripes. Three different rolls: bees alternating with flowers, flowers enclosed in the loops of a winding stem, and a Renaissance ornament.
